Hypothetically speaking, suppose that you were a new arrival to this City, and that you were handed a guide to explain your predicament.

Beyond the following, what would you like to see in said guide?

✗ Introduction
✗ Deities
✗ Curses
✗ Living (residences, entertainment, product availability, travel, etc.)
✗ The nature of "being stuck"
✗ Expectation of power dampening
✗ Judicial and Police systems
✗ Monetary explanation
✗ Medical availability
✗ Death and its symptoms
✗ Proof of attempts at various endeavors (escape, attack on the deities, etc.)
✗ "Reassurance"

In other words. I am seeking... advice, from my "fellow citizens". Please provide input.

An explanation of the fact that time stops back wherever you came from would be helpful.

I see. A reassurance that your world's events will not continue without you.

It would smooth away the worry of absence.

...Hmmm those are all good. It's almost hard to choose...but I would like to know more about the reassurance, medical availability, the curses.

Also information on the dieties, monetary explination, living and dying in the city would need to be covered so a person can get a better grasp on what they're getting into while living here.

If there is a map, maybe include it? Maybe a brief rundown of what is known of the City's history?

The possibility of parallel universes, alternate realities, and the existance of more than one of a single being.

As well as the nature of persons one knows being from before or after the "present" we perceive.

I see.

This sounds like a good start. I've been thinking it'd be a good idea to document the curses, if we can... Give people an idea of what to expect, even if there isn't a pattern to it.

I have kept a personal record of many of them, however, sometimes the exact nature of it can only be theorized, not discerned from the various personal effects and experiences.

Well, better late than never. In accordance to curses, perhaps a list of some common ones and how best to be prepared for them. Such as the purchase of bottled water should the taps prove useless. Or opposite-gendered clothing for gender-switches. Also, a warning that any secrets you hold will be hard, if not impossible, to keep as such.
